God lays before us.
What will we do with it?
I want to give you a verse
to meditate upon. Romans 11:36 says, “For of Him, and through Him, and to
Him, are all things; to whom be glory forever. Amen.”
Think about the doctrine of this verse. As a general principle that all
things come ofr4r4 God: they are of Him as their Source; they are through
Him as their means; they are to Him as their end. They are of Him in the
plan, through Him in the working, and to Him in the glory which they
produce. That is a ferocious blow to the egocentric society in which we
live.
Think about the doxology of this verse. “To whom be glory forever. Amen.”
This should be the priority desire of the Christian. As Paul tells us, “do
all things as unto the Lord.” May the Holy Spirit make this desire
practical.
As we consider the implications of the Resurrection, may our praise of the
Lord be powerful and personal. Praise the Lord!
