Pastor
Danny Harvey...
Danny Harvey
was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois. His faith was developed at a
young age as he went to the Salvation Army church near his home. Danny
is married to Linda and has one son and one daughter.
Danny served in the Air
Force during the early 1960's, and it was during this time that he was called to the
ministry. He graduated from Carson-Newman College in Tennessee in 1969 and came to North
Fort Myers to serve as Mission Pastor at Suncoast Baptist Mission.
In 1976, McGregor Baptist Church called
Danny to serve as the pastor of the Cypress Lake Baptist Mission which met at The
Canterbury School in South Fort Myers. Danny has served as pastor of Cypress Lake Baptist
Church ever since.
In December, 1996, Danny received the
Doctor of Ministry degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Danny loves to sing and
has recorded some of his vocal music.
His biggest desire for Cypress Lake Baptist
Church is to see it fulfill its mission as a church and to show the love of Christ to all
who enter.
